Communities across Toronto are being given the opportunity to help shape the delivery of programs for families and children. Your feedback is critical to help the City of Toronto understand how to allocate funds and ensure improved services for children, families, and caregivers.
As you know, there are a variety of programs in Toronto where parents and caregivers can go with their young children to play, learn, receive parenting support, and information on child development. In January 2018, the City of Toronto will become responsible for the programs that are currently funded by the Ministry of Education.
Some examples include:
- Better Beginnings Better Futures,
- Family Resource Centres,
- Ontario Early Years Centres and
- Parenting and Family Literacy Centres (located in Schools).
Together with our community partners, Toronto Children’s Services wants to understand why you attend these programs, or why you don’t. Please take a moment to share your thoughts and experiences through this short survey. This survey should take you approximately 10 minutes to complete.
If you need support with reading and completing the survey, please drop by Creating Together and talk to Zalikha, or email her at: creatingtogether@rogers.com
