“Words cannot express how wonderful both my daughter and I think you all are. You have created a warm and loving environment for the kids and they are thriving because of it.”

– Nicole, parent

canada-helpsA small investment.

An enormous return!

We believe that there is power in giving – power that effects enormous change.

Each gift has a tremendous impact when pooled together with other donations. Your contribution will help to ensure that there are accessible and relevant services that help parents and caregivers with children ages 0 to 6 in all aspects of their children’s development and learning. Easily donate and receive a charitable tax receipt through CanadaHelps.org.

The literature is overwhelmingly consistent in finding that exposure to high-quality education in the early years generally leads to improved cognitive and language development, as well as better numeracy abilities – all skills that are essential to succeed in today’s society. In addition to building fundamental skills, early child-hood education programs can help to identify learning or developmental delays at an early stage and provide children and parents with appropriate support.

Giving children the best start in life during their early years is one of the most important investments we can make in Canada’s future.

Here are a few examples of what your donations can help to achieve.

$50 can provide a dress-up costume for the drama centre or craft supplies for the art table — helping to spark creativity and imagination.

$100 can provide cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit, vegetables and more for the healthy snack program — improving the nutrition of young children.

$150 can provide two to three new educational resources for the family resource centre — extending learning and development opportunities.

$500 can help with installing storefront signage for our new space.

$1,000 can support accessibility upgrades at our centre, including to the washroom and front door.

$5,000 can support the salary of an additional part-time Early Childhood Educator, allowing us to better serve the increased number of families that access our centre.

$10,000 can help with much-needed renovations to our kitchen.
