If you haven’t already seen it, be sure to come by and check out Creating Together’s beautiful tree. All last week, our families made decorations and and helped our team put up lights and bunting. It isn’t too late to contribute your own decorations – stop by our craft table and use some glitter and paint to make something wonderful to add to the tree.

Our families had a spook-tacular time at Creating Together’s Halloween party! We welcomed pirates, knights, superheroes and the most adorable animals – check out these fantastic costumes!

One of our Board members brought in a number of pumpkins, and Tanya, our Manager of Program Development, baked mini cupcakes for the children to decorate with frosting and gummies.

We hope that you all had lots of fun trick-or-treating and we look forward to next year!

Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights, and is celebrated every autumn. On Saturday, we marked Diwali with special treats and craft projects. Our families enjoyed some delicious samosas and sweet snacks, and the children spent some time making paper diyas, which are small lamps or candles that are used to decorate homes during the festival.

Halloween is just around the corner! Have you chosen your costume? Put up your decorations? Found the perfect pumpkin for your jack-o-lantern? Here at Creating Together, we are busy getting into the spooky spirit. This morning, we had fun drawing and carving some pumpkins for the centre.
